Dave East just dropped his sophomore studio album titled “Karma 3,” the third installment in the Karma Series. Dave East has dropped 14 mixtapes and one studio album prior to this album so the bar is set high. East has been New York’s Nipsey for a while now, but he’s notorious for horrible beats and features that don’t elevate the album … that being said, let’s call this album a compromise. Dave’s bars are showcased throughout the whole album, earning him another stripe in the game. However, some beats are too elaborate and use weird sounds, and most of the features weren’t good. Regardless of that, Dave was on point with the execution for the majority of the album. The album had a good intro and a flowing sequence of vibes throughout the album, not sticking to one flow for more than 2 songs in a row. We overall enjoyed the album a good bit, although it resembles older projects, we are not dissapointed.
